3 new ships for Norwegian Cruise Line

From 2005 to 2007, Norwegian Cruise Line carried out a newbuilding programme at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany. Based on our long-term relationship with NCL where Jets™ has also upgraded ejector systems, Jets™ was the preferred solution for this newbuilding programme.

The new ships are the "Norwegian Jewel" (2005), the "Pride of Hawaii" (2006) and the "Norwegian Pearl" (2007). All these ships are fitted fith Jets™ systems. The first in the series, "Norwegian Jewel", has 4 x Jets™ 195MBA vacuum units and 1,710 toilets on board.

Norwegian Cruise Line is owned by Malaysian cruise and casino operator Genting Group as part of Star Cruises, the third largest cruise line in the world. The NCL group has a fleet of sixteen ships in service and under construction under three brands: Norwegian Cruise Line, Orient Lines and NCL America.
